I had my bunion surgery about 5 years ago now, it was an easy same day surgery where I was really well taken care of and went home the same day!

I was able to go to work the very next day in a boot that protects my foot, even drove myself and I had an hour drive each way at the time. All my shoes had an imprint of my bone that protruded out about 1/2 inch which is why I finally decided to do it, not to mention the pain I was experiencing!! I can honestly say that you cannot even see my incision, my shoes all fit much more comfortably, and I haven't experienced pain since. It was the best thing I ever did!!! This is hereditary in my family and my grandma had the same one on the same foot and waited until a much later age in life to do it!! I'm glad I took care of it at a younger age and won't have to worry about it for the rest of my life!
